Social Welfare Department is responsible for the mentorship and capacity building for Social Work field students, electives students and staff from lower-tier institutions within and outside the country. Specific areas for capacity building include:

• Renal, Emergency, Psychiatry
• Social Welfare Leadership and management in Hospitals
• Planning for Social Welfare activities in Hospital
• Blood bank, Pediatric Social Work
• Geriatric Social Services and Palliative Care
